From Nursing School to Homestead Dreams: Growing Knowledge, Confidence, and a Life Rooted in Purpose

There is something incredibly beautiful about watching something grow.

A lavender cutting taking root.
A nursing student finally “getting” a difficult concept.

Growth rarely happens overnight. It takes:

  • Patience
  • Consistency
  • Encouragement
  • Time
  • Support from others

That idea is at the heart of everything I create.

This space blends nursing education, NCLEX prep, gardening, lavender, hiking, and homesteading dreams—but they all share one mission:

Helping you feel more confident, capable, and inspired.

Whether you’re studying for exams, heading into clinicals, or dreaming of a slower, more intentional life, I hope you find something here that supports you.

Nursing Study Resources for Students

Multiple bundles: Pediatric Bundle, Nursing School Bundle, Study Guide Template Bundle and more to come

Why I Started Creating Nursing Study Sheets

If you’re in nursing school, you already know how overwhelming it can be.

You’re constantly juggling:

  • Medications to memorize
  • Lab values
  • Disease processes
  • Clinical skills
  • Care plans
  • NCLEX-style questions

It can feel like your brain is always full.

I remember it clearly—sticky notes everywhere, handwritten pages stuffed into textbooks, screenshots on my phone, and last-minute notes before clinicals.

I loved learning… but I needed it to feel more organized.

That’s what led me to create nursing study resources designed for clarity and simplicity.

My goal is simple:

  • Reduce overwhelm
  • Improve organization
  • Make studying faster
  • Help you focus on understanding, not clutter

Because when your notes are clear, your mind can be too.

What You’ll Find in My Nursing Study Resources

Every study sheet and bundle is designed to be:

  • Clean and easy to read
  • Visually calming
  • Quick to review
  • Focused on high-yield nursing content

You’ll find resources like:

  • Medication guides
  • Pediatric nursing references
  • Lab value cheat sheets
  • Assessment tools
  • NCLEX study pages
  • Clinical quick-reference sheets
Study Template

These are meant to support your learning—not replace your textbooks or instructors.

NCLEX Prep & Nursing School Support

More Than Pretty Study Guides

As a registered nurse, accuracy is always my priority.

Every resource is carefully reviewed to ensure it is:

  • Clinically accurate
  • Evidence-informed
  • Safe for student learning

These tools are designed to support your NCLEX prep and nursing school success, not replace your required coursework.

How to use them:

  • Quick review before exams
  • Clinical day preparation
  • NCLEX study reinforcement
  • Daily concept refreshers

Sometimes, having everything on one page makes all the difference.

Nursing Is More Than Memorization

Nursing school teaches you quickly that memorization alone is not enough.

What truly matters is:

  • Compassion
  • Critical thinking
  • Communication
  • Confidence
  • Kindness

Patients may not remember every detail you did—but they remember how you made them feel.

The same is true in learning.

The best education builds confidence, not just knowledge.

My hope for you:

When you feel prepared, you can:

  • Think more clearly
  • Stress less
  • Focus more on patient care
  • Show up as your best self

That’s the kind of nurse I hope these resources help you become.

Homesteading Journey: Lavender, Gardening & Intentional Living

Bundles all geared towards caring

Why Nursing and Homesteading Belong Together

You might wonder why a nursing blog includes gardening, lavender, and homestead dreams.

The connection is actually simple.

  • Nursing teaches me about health
  • Nature teaches me about healing

Both remind me that growth takes time.

Nature teaches us:

  • Plants don’t rush
  • Seeds don’t compare themselves
  • Lavender blooms in its own season

Nursing teaches us:

  • No one starts fully prepared
  • Mistakes are part of learning
  • Growth comes from showing up again

Both require patience, humility, and consistency.

Our Homestead Dreams

This blog is more than nursing education—it’s also about building a meaningful life.

We are slowly working toward a small homestead centered on intentional living.

We’re starting with lavender and expanding from there.

Summit and Stream lavender is at the heart of this beginning—our first intentional planting, representing both calm and movement, stillness and growth.

Future homestead goals include:

  • Growing and harvesting lavender
  • Drying and bundling herbs
  • Propagating plants
  • Creating handmade products
  • Supporting pollinators like bees and butterflies
  • Expanding into seasonal garden projects

Eventually, we hope to build a space rooted in:

  • Simplicity
  • Creativity
  • Outdoor living
  • Sustainability

Why This Matters to Me

Nursing and homesteading may seem different, but they share core values:

  • Patience
  • Learning
  • Care for others
  • Respect for growth

Both remind me that meaningful things take time.

Learning Together: Nursing + Lifestyle Growth

A Community Built on Curiosity

One of the best parts of this journey is knowing I’m still learning too.

Every season teaches something new:

  • Gardening teaches patience
  • Nursing teaches resilience
  • Life teaches humility

I never want to lose that curiosity.

This space is for:

  • Nursing students
  • NCLEX test-takers
  • New nurses
  • Gardeners and homesteaders
  • Anyone seeking a slower, more intentional life

You are welcome here.

What’s Coming Next

I’m excited about what’s ahead.

Think of this space as:

Where nursing education meets peaceful living.

Some days we’ll study pediatric milestones.
Other days we’ll harvest lavender.
Some weeks we’ll focus on NCLEX prep.
Other weeks we’ll be in the garden.

Life doesn’t have to fit into one category—and neither does this blog.

A Final Thought

I don’t believe success is just grades, titles, or achievements.

I believe success is:

Building a life you’re proud to wake up to.

  • Creating simple, helpful study tools
  • Spending time in the garden
  • Growing Summit and Stream lavender and learning from nature
  • Building a slow, intentional homestead life
  • Sharing the journey with others

Most importantly, it includes community—people who value growth, kindness, and learning along the way.
